Diploma in AccountingWho should take this Program?The Diploma in Accounting is intended for students who are interested in becoming Certified General Accountants (CGAs) in British Columbia or Certified Management Accountants (CMAs) or intend pursuing a career in accounting without obtaining certification. The program is also ideal for international students who want to obtain a thorough education in accounting. Immigrants to Canada can use this program to obtain credits in courses which they require for Canadian certification. All courses completed as part of the Diploma in Accounting receive direct credit from the CGA Association of British Columbia. Courses in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Economics and Quantitative Methods, receive credit from CMA as being equivalent to the prerequisite courses required for entry to the CMA Accelerated Program. | |||||||||||||||
