Diploma in AccountingOverviewThe Diploma in Accounting Program is a full-time eight month program designed to cover all the fundamentals of accounting. All credits earned during the program are fully transferable to the CGA Professional Program. During the program, students cover all the CGA Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. Courses in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Economics and Quantitative Methods are also accepted by the Certified Management Accountants of BC as equivalent to their four prerequisite courses for the CMA Accelerated Program. Students who are not intending to complete the CGA or CMA, will still be able to use this program to gain entry into a career in accounting. There are many opportunities for graduates in this field.
