Overview

A person holding the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation is a specialist in life insurance and estate planning.

The CLU educational program consists of three specialized courses that provide additional learning in life insurance applications, insurance law and taxation, and applied estate planning. The content of these three courses builds upon the concepts found in the courses leading to the CFP^® designation.
