Overview

Simply Accounting is an integrated accounting course with many features that are suitable for small-and medium-sized businesses. It includes several accounting modules : General, Payables, Receivables, Payroll, Inventory, Project and Time and Billing (Premium version and higher). Knowledge of Simply Accounting is essential for many job situations. The Simply Accounting Application Specialist course is designed for students who wish to obtain a certification as Simply Accounting Application Specialists.

Simply Accounting has been designed and built to run on the Windows 7 operating system.

Anyone who wants to fully understand how to use Simply Accounting together with its many features.

Upon completion of this course students will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Ashton College and the Sage Simply Accounting Application Specialist Assessment designation*.

*The minimum acceptable score for the designation is 75%. The designation assessment is an online open book examination. Students may use their training manual, class notes and product documentation during the assessment.

Format

The course extends over a two week period and includes 30 hours of instructional time, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. The certification examination is an additional 2 hours in length.
