The Graduation Ceremony is an exciting event as we commemorate the successful conclusion of a program of study at Ashton College and the transition into the next phase of professional life.
Graduating students are welcome to attend together with family and friends up to a maximum of four guests.
The Ceremony
The Graduation Ceremony commences at 6:30pm sharp and lasts approximately one and a half hours.
All Graduates are asked to report to the Graduation Ceremony Coordinator at least 45 minutes
prior to the start of the ceremony.
Graduation Gowns
Students attending the graduation will be required to rent their graduation gown through the Office
of the Register. The price for this rental includes a commemorative cap and tassel.
Full details regarding the graduation ceremony will be emailed to Graduates by the Registrar’s
Office well in advance of the ceremony.
Diplomas & Certificates
Graduates, who are unable to attend the Graduation Ceremony, can pickup their certificates,
diplomas or specific academic credentials from the Office of the Registrar located in suite 410. Arrangements can also be made to have your credentials sent through mail following graduation.

Graduations are held twice per year: June and December.
The next Graduation Ceremony will take place at the Fletcher Challenge Theatre,
SFU Downtown
Campus on June 15, 2012.
